Plans and billing
Confidant offers a free plan and paid Pro billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. New accounts get a 14-day Pro trial without a card and move to the free plan if no payment method is added. Paid plans renew until cancelled. Cancel any time from Billing in the app; Pro stays active to the end of the paid period.
Refunds
We offer a full refund of the first payment if requested within 14 days. Renewals are not refunded.
Your content and AI providers
Scripts, recordings and settings are stored on your Mac. AI features send prompts to the provider you connect with your own API key, under that provider's terms. You are responsible for that account and its costs.
Acceptable use
Don't resell, share or work around licensing. Don't use Confidant for anything unlawful.
No warranty
Confidant is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect losses. Our total liability is limited to what you paid in the last 12 months.
